Regular attendance is essential for dancers to learn, progress and feel confident in their skills.
Dance is a team activity. When one dancer misses class, it can affect the progress of the entire group.
We understand that illness, appointments and occasional activities happen. However, regular absences can affect a dancer's ability to safely and confidently participate in performances.
Students may miss:
Up to 3 classes before Christmas
Up to 3 classes after Christmas
Maximum: 6 absences for the year
Students who miss more than 6 classes will not be eligible to participate in:
Festivals/Competitions
Year-End Showcase
This policy helps ensure that every dancer is properly prepared, confident and safe when performing.
